HELLLLLLOOO AMIGAS,the other day i was the maaike meeking LFW presentation show at the pop up space at 20 beak street, its pretty cool, DIFFERENT but i must say i rather enjoyed it minus the MISERABLE LOOK ON MY FACE,i was just really drained thats all from college.//TRUE STORIES

ohh dont forget the free drinks aswell.hahha but yehh. the collection was pretty simplistic,elegant and ...WEARABLE. I loved the hand stenciled porints and xi detailing aswell. The show was basically a short film/live installation entitled : WITCH

SHIP in which the model wore the collection LIVE for us to view, pretty awesome huh.anywaysss,judge for urselfssssssssssss.

Soo i caught up with all round cool guy dj who goes by the name "yes sir idol" we discussed "come dine with me"  and other stuff kinda relating to music

=im actually hungry can you cook?? all i can make is spaghetti and plantain
 I've just eaten some tuna and roasted vegetable fish cakes so I'm all good right now. I like to think I can cook a mean roast...which basically involves me roasting everything in one big baking tray.
=:Who would be ur ideal contestants on "come dine with me"?
 I'm not going to lie, I've thought about this many times (who hasn't). I'd have Ricky Gervais for the humour, Justin Timberlake for the entertainment, Dwayne'The Rock'Johnson for the People's Eyebrow and Rihanna for just being Rihanna.
=:So yeah? how did you get into mixing,djing and all the malarky? and how the name "yes sir idol" came about?
I started DJing when I was 11 (back in the day of vinyl's) my brother used to DJ too and taught me all I know. These days I focus mainly on the production side of things because that's where I feel most at home. The name, well that started out as just Idol but I changed it to Yes Sir Idol after hearing Pharrell (constantly) use the phrase "yessir" and thought I was being pretty clever at the time...it's just stuck ever since.
=Have you always wanted to make music?for example when i was six i wanted to be a butterfly.
:I've always wanted music in my life I know that much for sure, I turned my hand to production and it gave me a crazy feeling that you can't explain, maybe like turning from a caterpillar to a butterfly!?
=Ive been kinda (stalking) reading ure blog and i's love it.What bands/musicians do you predict big things for in 2010?
: Haha well I'm honoured that you kinda stalk me. As far as 2010 goes there are two stand out acts for me - one being Tinashé (http://myspace.com/tinashemusic) without question he is the most talented artist I've come across in a very long time. If you ever get a chance to see him live then you can't pass it by, him and his drummer are on another level. Secondly Marvellous Macc Mello (http://myspace.com/maccmello), he's been bubbling under for a while now and I think/hope this year he will break through and add something completely different and fresh to the world of Hip-Hop.





:Finally what does "yes sir idol" have in the pipeline for the new year?
= This year I'm just going to keep working on furthering my sound and working with new artists - I have so much going on in the background and can't wait to just throw it out there and see what people think.

LONDON FASHION WEEK: AW10 Alexandra Groover

I would like to say i was pretty darn impressed with alexandra groove's collection, funnily enough im usually more fan of colours n stuff in colllections but the simplicity and the gradual progression of shapes and movements in the cloths became aparent.Every piece was black, soo focusing the attention on the form and movements of the shapes.I feel the abstracts concepts where highly succesful










keeping up with the monchrome palettes, her latest collection entitled "encre noir" was also showcased at 20 beak street(the lfw pop space by photographer christopher james from WeKnowWhatYoudidlastnight.com ) This was a choregraphed piece that was supposed to echoes the undulation of octopus tentacles,hahah yes??

20.02.10 WKWYDLN Clothing Launch Party

Alright amigas, nice to catch up , well not really but hope ya'll enjoying fashion week , basically my homie from another mummmiee Christopher james aka the founder of weknowwhatyoudidlastnight had the launch party on saturday for his LFW pop up space(in which up to 13 designers get to exhibit their work ranging from shirts to jewelleries) and their was free drinks soo i was like "BRO, IM DOWN,BRALAAPP" but seriously it was pretty awesome,,the music was on shizzle(djs: broken hearts kicked it) and CHRIS, I MEET URE PARENTS,they were AAAMAZINNNGGG! hahah. ALSO THE LIMITED T-SHIRTS WERE PRETTY DOPE! kudos dude! WHY IS IT IN EVERY PICTURE I HAVE SQUITING EYES??? but yous gotta love the russian hat yes? no? I dont care.

Ive been obsessing about this band for days,weeks,months, basically forever. Bombay bicycle club are a mixture of blur,placebo and a hint of lenny kravitz ok? the last bit was a guess but i love their approach to the indie scene being all alternative and fuzzzzzyyyy and just beauitiful
Yes. I KNOW! They are actually sooo neeky, its actually amazing i hence why i have my eyes set on marrying the lead singer Jack Steadman as everytime he sings i melt inside a lil bit whilst also turning into an appple crumble for some reason.

Today was when i realised. There's amazing right? yes?? If you say no, that obviously means you're an old cynical bag head.I saw the official "under pressure" video for the first time yesterday and i couldnt help but think I LOVEEEE THEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

I can't decide if i wanna adopt them or marry one of them.imagine how cool that would be for me to have some jedward babies, they'd probably be alien tapdancing babies but oohhh well , tapdacing babies would be epic.They can actually dance and the styling was on point and VANNILLLAAA ICE,if someone told him 10 years he would be doing a remake of his hit song with these two optismist annnoying twurps he would punched the person that suggested it.
